The 100th anniversary celebrations of Warner Bros. at Sentosa have been marred by the unexpected missing of the Jerry mascot from the Tom & Jerry exhibit.

Three days into the exhibition at Siloso Beach, visitors detected a notable void in the otherwise jovial setup. The Jerry inflatable, an iconic half of the Tom and Jerry showcase, was nowhere to be found, triggering a small-scale crisis among event organizers. Subsequent checks confirmed a worrisome suspicion – the beloved mouse mascot had been stolen, with a police report filed soon after this shocking discovery.

Authorities confirmed the disappearance after receiving an official police report. Warner Bros., responsible for the exhibition, clarified that this was an unforeseen circumstance, not a deliberate stunt or promotional strategy.

The missing Jerry mascot formed part of a special exhibition curated by Warner Bros. to mark their centenary celebrations at Sentosa. It was a unique piece, designed distinctly for this exceptional event. Before gracing Siloso Beach, the inflatables had been part of a delightful kite-flying fiesta at Marina Barrage, fondly recalled by many attendees.

The disappearance of the beloved Jerry mascot has undeniably cast a pall over the Warner Bros. anniversary event. Unfortunately, according to a Warner Bros spokesperson, creating an exact duplicate of the Jerry mascot before the event’s conclusion on November 26th isn’t feasible.

Warner Bros. swiftly responded by posting signs and launching a social media campaign to involve the public in locating the missing inflatable. Prior to this incident, the mascots had a clean record, having appeared at other events without any issues.

Despite the setback, Warner Bros. assured attendees that the event would continue with alternative entertainment options and photo opportunities. However, Jerry’s absence will be felt until a resolution is found.

Warner Bros. remains hopeful for Jerry’s return to complete the display, acknowledging the significance of the duo’s presence, particularly in the context of Sentosa’s vibrant atmosphere. The search for Jerry continues as both event-goers and fans await the duo’s reunion.
