The launch of the Community Development Council (CDC) Vouchers Scheme 2024 by Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Finance, Mr. Lawrence Wong, comes as a substantial financial relief for residents. With a straightforward application process accessible through vouchers.cdc.gov.sg, every Singaporean household is entitled to claim these vouchers which support these households to better manage the cost of living, and at the same time, support the local hawkers and heartland businesses.
The CDC Vouchers can be redeemed at a long list of establishments ranging from heartland merchants to supermarkets. A remarkable coalition of over 23,000 local hawkers and businesses, along with eight major supermarkets encompassing 415 outlets, have joined the CDC Vouchers Scheme 2024. Residents are encouraged to look out for the distinctive teal or yellow CDC Voucher decals – teal for hawkers and merchants, yellow for supermarkets, to utilise their vouchers.
With the digital era in full swing, it can’t be overlooked that some residents may find the virtual claiming procedure challenging. For these residents that need help, assistance is readily available at Community Centres/Clubs (CCs), and SG Digital Community Hubs. Additionally, youth volunteers are at hand to guide through the claiming process, providing assistance for residents who need help to claim their digital vouchers.
The CDC Vouchers remain valid until 31 December 2024, making it important for households to utilize them before the expiry. The CDC Vouchers Learning Journeys is one initiative designed to help residents understand these vouchers, and to provide hands-on learning for residents to use them.

They provide much-needed support to Singaporeans who need it most, while also boosting the local economy.”
