Originally from Malaysia, 27-year-old Tang Xinyi has been serving as a beer promoter for two years, joining the Jurong West kopitiam only eight months ago. Despite the sudden surge in popularity and the influx of messages on her social media accounts, Tang remains modest and has no interest in becoming an influencer.
While some customers have suggested that she should pursue a career in live streaming to alleviate her workload, Tang feels uncomfortable in front of the camera and prefers to focus on her current role.
