On 20 and 21 September, students who are taking the Primary School Leaving Examination (PSLE) will have the opportunity to redeem a complimentary breakfast bundle at participating Cheers and FairPrice Xpress outlets throughout Singapore.
This initiative, launched by FairPrice Group, aims to provide students with nourishment and encouragement before their milestone examinations. Each ‘Cheers Breakfast Club’ bundle is valued at over S$20 and includes milk, cereal, whole meal bread, Brandās Essence of Chicken, and canned tuna, neatly packed in a yellow drawstring bag.
Vipul Chawla, the CEO of FairPrice Group, emphasized that good nutrition is crucial for students’ physical and mental well-being. He shared, “Through initiatives like the Cheers Breakfast Club, we hope to make this rite of passage a bit more enjoyable and the daily lives of our students and parents just a little better.”
The two-day initiative will commence at 2pm on Friday, 20 September, and will continue on Saturday, 21 September. To redeem the breakfast bundle, students simply need to present their student cards or PSLE examination slips at the counter of participating outlets. A total of 12,000 bundles are redeemable across 131 participating Cheers and FairPrice Xpress outlets island wide. The list of participating outlets can be found here.
