Curious why security always shoos me from the pool…but not them…
A resident of a local condominium has raised concerns about the frequent presence of maids and their companions engaging in what is perceived as inappropriate behavior at the condo pool.
Stomp contributor IL, a resident in District 11, captured an incident on September 22 at approximately 6 pm, showcasing maids and their friends dressed scantily and striking provocative poses by the pool.
In sharing the images, IL reflected on the ongoing debate regarding the use of common facilities by domestic helpers and expressed understanding of a helper hired by a resident making use of the amenities. However, the contributor questioned the regularity of visits by groups of maids and their friends over the past six months, clad provocatively and taking pictures and videos in the area.
Describing the group’s activities, IL mentioned their prolonged visits, bringing their own food, and staying until late hours. The group was reported to rearrange pool furniture and utilize the shower room before departing, inconveniencing other residents.
Despite alerting the condominium management of the issue, IL highlighted the lack of response from the authorities, prompting the resident to seek feedback from fellow condo dwellers on the acceptability of the situation.
The resident pondered, “How do fellow condo residents think about this? Is this acceptable?” as the concerning behavior continued unabated.
In the words of the resident, “They moved pool furniture around without rearranging it back and showered in the only shower room before leaving the condo.”
The presence of scantily clad domestic helpers posing for photos at the condo pool has raised alarm within the community. The resident’s plea for intervention remains unaddressed despite efforts to engage with the condo management.
