Former One Direction member Liam Payne tragically passed away in Buenos Aires after falling from his third-floor hotel balcony, as confirmed by Argentine police on Oct 16.
In a statement, the police reported being called to the hotel in Buenos Aires’ Palermo neighborhood due to an incident involving “an aggressive man who could be under the effects of drugs and alcohol.”
Upon arrival, the hotel manager recounted hearing a loud noise, leading to the discovery of the man’s fall from the balcony within his room.
Expressing grief, American singer Charlie Puth shared on Instagram, “I am in shock right now. Liam was always so kind to me. He was one of the first major artistes I got to work with. I cannot believe he is gone.”
