A 30-year-old woman was found dead in a flat along Dover Road on Monday (Dec 2). According to a report from Channel News Asia, the police said they received a call for assistance at about 5.10 pm. Upon arrival, they discovered the deceased woman in the unit.
As stated by the police, “Preliminary investigations revealed that a 34-year-old man, who is believed to be able to assist with investigations, had left Singapore prior to the call for assistance.” The man and the woman are known to each other, implying a connection between the two individuals.
Furthermore, police authorities were unable to disclose more details regarding the nature of their investigations, given that their inquiries are still ongoing. On the evening of the incident, a police van was spotted at Block 1 Dover Road at about 10.40 pm. Officers from the Criminal Investigation Department were seen outside an 11th-floor flat which had been cordoned off.
