FairPrice Group (FPG) will give out more than 75,000 free refreshment sets to Muslim customers at 59 FairPrice stores during Ramadan 2025.
The distribution will take place from March 2 to March 30, 2025, continuing a tradition that has run for 17 straight years to support the Muslim community during their fasting month.
Each Muslim customer will get a refreshment set with a drink (milk, isotonic beverage, or water) and a snack (dates or biscuits) while supplies last.
The refreshments will be available 30 minutes before or after iftar time, when Muslims break their fast.
“Ramadan is a time for prayer and reflection, and we want to take the opportunity to support our Muslim community during this important period,” said Vipul Chawla, Group CEO of FairPrice Group.
Additional Initiatives
For the first time in 2025, volunteers from FPG’s headquarters will join store staff in distributing the Buka Puasa refreshments. This expands the Group’s community engagement options for its employees.
On March 3 and 4, FairPrice Group, backed by the FairPrice Foundation, will distribute 1,500 Ramadan care packs to Yayasan Mendaki and M³ beneficiaries. These packs contain dates, soy milk, and other break-fast items.
The company will set up two Hari Raya Mini Bazaars: one at FairPrice Xtra JEM (February 27 to March 12) and another at FairPrice Woodlands 888 (March 13 to 26).
These bazaars will sell various condiments, drinks, festive snacks, desserts, and ready-to-eat foods.
Special discounts on Ramadan and Hari Raya essentials will continue until April 9, 2025, giving Muslim shoppers cheaper options both online and in stores.
Two Hari Raya Block Parties will also happen in Tampines and Woodlands in April.
BYD ATTO 3 Cars as Raya Festive Draw Prizes
FairPrice is also running a Raya Festive Draw from February 13 to April 9, 2025, with three brand-new BYD ATTO 3 cars as prizes.
Customers earn one lucky draw entry for every S$30 spent in a single receipt at any FairPrice store (including FairPrice Finest, FairPrice Xtra, FairPrice Shop), Unity stores (except Changi Airport locations), or through the FairPrice website or app.
Shoppers can get extra chances when buying participating products or by paying via the FairPrice Group app.
