A seven-year-old Singaporean boy named Noah died in a car accident in Johor Bahru on March 16, 2025. He had planned to join a local football school in Singapore.
The accident occurred when a lorry driver under the influence of drugs lost control on the coastal highway in Bandar Dato Onn. The lorry crossed the divider and hit a car carrying a Singaporean family and their Indonesian domestic helper. Noah was thrown from the vehicle and pronounced dead at the hospital. His father and the domestic helper suffered severe injuries.
Noah’s two older cousins are students at Soaring Dreams FA, the football school Noah had planned to join. The school’s founder, Mr. Wang, learned about the family’s fundraising efforts and decided to help.
Soaring Dreams FA will hold a fundraising football event next Sunday morning at Yio Chu Kang Secondary School. Attendees can play football and donate through the family’s PAYNOW number.
The football school will also make jerseys with Noah’s name to give to his family as a memento.
