Two men were arrested following a physical altercation in Little India that left one bleeding.
The fight occurred near 48 Clive Street around 11:30 PM on Friday, March 14, 2025, when an argument between two men escalated into violence.
A witness reported that a man approached auxiliary police officers on patrol, claiming he had been assaulted. The man appeared intoxicated.
When the auxiliary officers followed him back to the scene, they found police and an ambulance already treating another man who was covered in blood.
Witnesses clarified that the man who sought help from the auxiliary officers was actually the one who had attacked the injured person.
The injured man was sitting on a chair provided by a passerby while bystanders attempted to stop his bleeding. According to witnesses, the aggressor may have struck the victim with a bottle.
The man who approached the auxiliary officers later admitted to fighting with the injured person and was arrested by police.
Police confirmed that two men, aged 33 and 38, were arrested for fighting in public. The 33-year-old was taken to the hospital while conscious.
A witness named Pravin, a 27-year-old truck driver, told reporters from Shin Min Daily News that he saw a blood-covered man being taken away by police.
Another witness, an employee at a nearby food establishment, said he counted at least 10 police officers and four police cars at the scene.
Fights occur in the area approximately every few months, primarily due to alcohol-related incidents, according to witnesses.
