A delivery truck driver and motorcyclist were involved in a dangerous confrontation at an HDB block in Punggol Central on February 17, 2025.
The incident occurred around 6 PM near the loading bay of Block 166A at Punggol Central, according to Shin Min Daily News.
A female witness reported seeing the motorcyclist call friends to surround an ezbuy delivery truck. The motorcyclist, dressed in a dark jacket, and a woman wearing white stood in front of the vehicle to prevent it from leaving.
The truck driver proceeded to drive forward despite the human blockade. This action caused the woman in white to fall to the ground, nearly pulling her under the vehicle.
Bystanders shouted at the driver to stop, which he did in time. The woman got up quickly and moved away from danger.
Following this, the angry motorcyclist kicked the truck’s front while another man hit the window with a helmet. Two additional men joined the blockade.
The motorcyclist then positioned himself on the hood of the truck. Despite this, the driver continued moving forward, pushing the motorcyclist for more than 10 meters.
Residents identified the truck driver as a Chinese man who regularly delivered packages in the area.
Someone familiar with the situation stated that both the truck driver and motorcyclist had arrived at the HDB area earlier. The truck parked at the loading bay as usual for some time, during which the motorcyclist gathered friends and family, leading to the confrontation.
Police are now investigating the incident, which has been captured in a viral video.
