NTUC NDP Bay Celebrations 2025: The National Day Party By Youth For Youth

NTUC NDP Bay Celebrations 2025
NTUC Youth

Singapore turns 60 this year. But before you mentally check out because you think it’s the same old National Day stuff, pause. NTUC is throwing theNTUC NDP Bay Celebrations 2025and it’s putting the spotlight fully on the youth of Singapore.

It’s loud, vibrant, inclusive, and the whole theme says it clearly: Majulah SG Youth.

This year, NTUC’s celebration is designed around youth voices, youth work, youth dreams, inviting youth to come together as one united youth community!

This celebration invites youths to come together to reflect on and celebrate their collective contributions to nation-building, and be assured that NTUC continues to walk alongside themin building a brighter future for Singapore.

The NTUC NDP Bay Celebrations at The Promontory @ Marina Bay will be bigger this year

The main event is on 9 August 2025 (National Day), with two preview events on 26 July and 2 August 2025. All three events run from 4 pm to 9 pm and feature interactive installations, performances, and a massive symbolic moment to wrap up the festivities.

The line-up slaps

Gen Zs and Millennials don’t show up for boring. So here’s who’s performing:

  • ShiGGa Shay
  • SMU SoundFoundry
  • DJ Red
  • DJ Caden
  • NTU MJ (Modern Jazz Dance)
  • Shabir Sulthan
  • Shazza
  • O School
  • Estelle Fly (26 Jul and 2 Aug)
  • Regina Song (9 Aug)

You get a cross between a concert, a dance show, and a National Day parade!

It’s more than music

Besides performances, check out the interactive installations based on real voices, artwork and dreams shared by over 6,000 students from our polys, ITEs and unis.

  • The Future We Create
In this installation, youth were asked to write down one word they associate with Singapore’s future. These words were fed into an AI visualiser, to generate an interactive visual showcase on how youths can play a part in shaping Singapore’s future.
  • Dream Exchange
Imagine a retro phone booth-style set-up where you pick up a receiver and hear a voice recording, one youth to another, anonymous. It could be encouragement, a story, or a quiet moment of reflection, uplifting both parties in a shared moment of empathy and solidarity.
  • Majulah SG Youth art installation
This installation is a collage of doodles made by students, capturing what young Singaporeans feel about this country right now, no filters.
  • Win at games and adulting
Challenge yourself at NTUC’s booth to play mini golf and try a memory game.

Check out the NTUC Starter Membership (if you’re 18–25), just $36 a year with access to adulting resources such as mental wellness tools, financial help, career resources, and social events.

What’s the big deal?

NTUC could’ve just sponsored a float in the main parade and called it a day. But instead, NTUC Youth is making space for youths to be seen and heard, via music, through art, with their own voices.

NTUC Youth isn’t new—they’ve supported over 180,000 young members under 35. This event proves they’re serious about standing with youth, and supporting their dreams, voices and potential.

As what Ms Natasha Choy, Executive Secretary, NTUC Youth, and Co-Chairperson of the NTUC NDP Bay Celebrations Organising Committee said, “From electrifying performances by local young talents to immersive installations built by and for youth, we’re spotlighting the passion and purpose of a generation that proves every youth truly matters.”
