According to the report by Shin Min Daily News, the Singapore Police Force was alerted to the accident at approximately 5.20 pm on 8 June. The collision between the lorry and motorcycle occurred at the junction of Loyang Way and Loyang Lane, leading to the grievous injury of the young motorcyclist. Despite efforts to save him, the 27-year-old was rushed to the hospital in an unconscious state and, tragically, succumbed to his injuries.
The driver of the lorry, a 41-year-old man, was taken into custody for driving without due care or reasonable consideration. The aftermath of the accident has sparked a sense of shock and sadness among the victim’s relatives and friends, as they mourn the loss of a promising aviation engineer who had only been working in Singapore for eight months.
