A video featuring Blackpink member Jisoo’s recent visit to Singapore has been released, capturing the star’s time at the Mandai Wildlife Reserve. The video, which was uploaded by Visit Singapore, shows the 30-year-old singer interacting with a variety of animals, including penguins and fennec foxes. In the footage, Jisoo is seen petting a penguin, leading birds on a walk, and playing with fennec foxes. The video’s release follows her earlier project in Singapore, where her music video for the song “Your Love” was secretly filmed at Rainforest Wild Asia.
Based on Jisoo’s outfit in the video, it appeared to have been filmed on the same day as her appearance at a pop-up store last March. This collaboration is highlighting Singapore’s unique experiences and its commitment to blending nature with urban life.
The special video for “Your Love” was filmed in collaboration with the Singapore Tourism Board (STB). It beautifully spotlights the city-state’s natural wonders and world-class wildlife attractions, adding an emotional depth to Jisoo’s performance. Serene Tan, an executive director at STB, said in a statement that the partnership aims to use Jisoo’s global influence to inspire more visitors.
“Through this partnership, we hope to showcase Singapore’s unique landscapes and attractions, such as the lush greenery and immersive wildlife experiences at the Mandai Wildlife Reserve, our key partner in this project. JISOO’s emotive performance brings to life the beauty of Singapore’s nature, and we hope her global influence will inspire more visitors and K-pop fans to discover and enjoy the memorable experiences our destination has to offer,” Ms. Tan said.
The Mandai Wildlife Group also weighed in on the collaboration, with Jean Choi, chief sales and marketing officer, stating that it was a creative way to showcase the reserve. “It’s a creative way to showcase the Mandai Wildlife Reserve and reveal a side of Singapore many may not expect. The precinct offers visually striking, memorable experiences that will resonate with Korean travellers, who value curated, Instagrammable spots with emotional storytelling,” Mr. Choi said.
Following the video’s release, Mandai Wildlife Reserve will host a special “Your Love meets the Wild” campaign from August 13 to October 5, 2025. This campaign will offer visitors a curated trail inspired by the music video’s locations. For fans of Blackpink, there is more to look forward to, as Jisoo and the other members are scheduled to return to Singapore in November for their “Deadline” tour.
