Local actress Jeanette Aw shared details of sexual harassment by a foreigner over two decades ago. She made the disclosure on her YouTube show JA Unscripted, uploaded on August 31, 2025.

The 46-year-old invited actress Cynthia Koh for a baking challenge. Koh co-starred with Aw in the long-running drama Holland V (2003). Aw runs the patisserie Once Upon A Time. She was also a co-host and judge on local reality baking competition show Creme De La Creme in 2021 and 2024.

Cynthia Koh Steps In During Harassment Incident

Aw still calls 51-year-old Koh “Third Sis” from their Holland V days. The popular TV series revolved around the Mo family operating a nasi lemak cafe in Holland Village. Aw played fourth sister Mo Jingjing. Koh was third sister Mo Yanyan.

The incident happened during a night out with Koh and “Second Sis” Patricia Mok. After dinner, they went for drinks. Koh and Mok walked ahead of Aw.

A foreigner inside the establishment grabbed Aw’s hand and pulled her over. He was watching a porn video. He forced her to watch it. Aw immediately told Koh and Mok about the harassment.

Koh stood up and walked over to the foreigner. “I tell you, don’t ever do this kind of thing to my sister again,” she said. Aw felt she had a very protective sister.

The same foreigner harassed another customer. Police arrived and took the man away.

Someone off-screen during the YouTube episode reminded Koh that she said “orbi good” (Singlish for serves you right) while watching police take the foreigner away. Both Aw and Koh laughed at the memory.

Koh Shares Her Own Nightclub Experience

Koh recalled a similar incident at the old Zouk nightclub on Jiak Kim Street. Zouk vacated that location in 2016. A man touched her buttocks.

Koh grabbed his hand and turned it around. “Say sorry now. If you don’t say sorry, I call security,” she told him. The man apologised profusely.

Koh won her first Best Supporting Actress award for her role in TV series Hope Afloat (2024) at the Star Awards in July 2025. The certified sound therapy practitioner has been focusing on her sound healing sessions.

Koh helps elderly people with dementia and cancer patients through her practice. Cancer patients who attend her sessions understand that sometimes the disease isn’t the only factor affecting them. Their state of mind also matters.
