A 23-year-old full-time police national serviceman sustained a gunshot wound to his neck at a Shell petrol station on Pasir Panjang Road on 15 Oct 2025. His teammates discovered him alone in a toilet at 328 Pasir Panjang Road around 9pm.
What Happened
The NSF was on duty. He remained conscious after the incident and was taken to hospital for treatment.
Police seized his service revolver and remaining ammunition at the scene. No one else was hurt.
Preliminary investigations point to a self-inflicted gunshot wound. The Singapore Police Force does not suspect foul play. Investigations continue.
Past Cases
On 19 Sep 2022, officers found a Central Police Division officer with a gunshot wound at 1 Bayfront Avenue. He died in hospital after arriving unconscious.
On 30 Aug 2021, a full-time police NSF was found alone with a gunshot wound to his head at the Special Operations Command base in Queensway. He died at the scene. Authorities later ruled it suicide.
