A guy named Yus Hairi posted some photos of his home’s Halloween decorations in a Facebook group. He joked in his caption, “Halloween starts early in Hougang…. I’m never gonna get my Shopee deliveries leow,” which made a lot of people laugh.
The decoration is a door curtain from AliExpress that looks like a ghost. It has a long white shroud and dark, empty eyes. From the hallway, it looks super real and spooky, especially with the dim lights. Since his unit is at the corner, all his neighbors have to walk past it to get to the lift. The poster joked that anyone walking down the long corridor and seeing the eerie decor would find it funny.
He said the realistic ghost makes it easy for visitors to do a double-take or even turn around and go the other way.
