A 23-year-old woman died after falling from a block at 649 Hougang Avenue 8 on 13 November 2025.
The Singapore Police Force got an alert about the incident at 11:30am. Officers found the woman lying motionless at the foot of the block. A paramedic from the Singapore Civil Defence Force pronounced her dead at the scene.
A Facebook group for domestic workers shared a photo of the incident. The post said the woman was a domestic worker from Myanmar. This hasn’t been officially confirmed.
Police don’t suspect foul play based on their initial checks. Investigations are still ongoing.
