A 69-year-old man was found dead in the Singapore River on 13 Nov 2025.
Police got a call around 9am. The body was floating in the waters off Queen Elizabeth Walk, a promenade at Esplanade Park.
An SCDF paramedic declared him dead at the scene after pulling him from the water. A police tent went up. Several officers secured the area.
A witness named Grace told Stomp she didn’t notice anything off when she walked past earlier.
Police don’t think foul play was involved based on what they know so far. The case looks like an unnatural death. The investigation continues.
Back in May, another body turned up in the same river. A 65-year-old man was found dead near Great World. That recovery happened at noon.
