Grab has upgraded its rewards program. What used to be GrabRewards points is now GrabCoins, a simpler way for users to earn and save across Grab services, including rides, GrabFood, GrabMart, and more.
The new GrabCoins system is fully integrated into a dedicated page in the Grab app. Users can now track how much they have earned, explore ongoing promotions, and see exactly how GrabCoins add up all in one place. This small change makes every ride, meal, or purchase more rewarding.
Existing Points Converted
GrabRewards points will be converted to GrabCoins at a 1:1 rate. For example, 50,000 GrabRewards points will become 50,000 GrabCoins. GrabCoins will be valid for six months from the month they are earned. This new rule takes effect from January 2026.
Save Faster, Redeem Sooner
GrabCoins can now be used to offset GrabFood and GrabMart orders starting from just 50 GrabCoins. Users also get a clear view of how much they can earn and save with each checkout, making it easier to track rewards.
Earn GrabCoins on Meals and Rides
- Weekday Meals: Users earn 5% back in GrabCoins on weekday GrabFood orders from Group Orders and GrabFood Signature merchants.
- Grab Dine Out: Earn 1,000 GrabCoins (about S$2) per completed booking, capped at two bookings per day.
- Weekday Rides: Earn 5% back in GrabCoins on Advance Booking rides. Family Account rides and GrabPet rides also qualify for 5% back. GrabCar Premium weekday rides earn 5% back too.
More Ways to Earn with GrabPay and GXS Bank
Users can also earn GrabCoins when spending with GrabPay, PayLater by Grab, or their GXS Bank accounts. Spend with GrabPay at partner merchants to get 0.3% back, or 0.5% back with PayLater. GXS Bank users earn 0.6% back on local Grab services and 2% back on Grab services overseas using the GXS Debit Card.
