A 25-year-old woman who went missing in Johor Bahru has been found safe after three days. Chong Jia Hui disappeared on 5 November 2025, sparking a search by her family and police.
Last Seen at Home
Chong was last spotted on CCTV leaving her apartment at R&F Princess Cove A2-1 that morning. She had just gotten back from a trip to China with friends the day before.
Her family raised the alarm when they couldn’t reach her. Her phone was switched off, and she wasn’t at her unit.
Three Days of Searching
Relatives and police launched a search operation. For days, no one could get through to her mobile phone.
Found and Recovering
Her family confirmed she’d been located and was receiving care. The disappearance stemmed from emotional distress following an emergency.
They’re now staying by her side as she recovers, China Press reported.
