Two people were taken to hospital after a three-car pile-up on Airport Boulevard on 16 Nov 2025. The accident happened around 8:20pm.

Police and the Singapore Civil Defence Force (SCDF) arrived at the scene shortly after. The crash took place on the stretch of Airport Boulevard coming from Changi Airport Terminal 3.

A 34-year-old woman and a one-year-old boy were both conscious when SCDF brought them to Sengkang General Hospital. Both were passengers in one of the cars. A third person had minor injuries but refused hospital treatment.

One of the cars involved was a private-hire vehicle, according to photos shared on Facebook. The white car’s rear end was completely wrecked. Its bumper and lights had broken off and were scattered on the road.

The crash caused a massive jam along Airport Boulevard. Photos taken at 8:35pm showed cars backed up behind the accident site.

Police are still investigating what caused the collision.

Second Serious Accident on Same Road in Two Weeks

This is the second major pile-up on Airport Boulevard in less than a month. On 2 Nov 2025, four cars crashed into each other on the same stretch of road. Two men went to hospital after that incident.

Traffic Police released a report in August showing road accidents have been climbing for three years straight. Accidents causing injuries jumped from 3,437 in the first half of 2024 to 3,740 during the same period in 2025.

The number of injured people rose from 4,665 to 4,860 between those two periods.
