A 78-year-old pedestrian died after being hit by a car along Jurong West Street 92 on 27 Nov 2025.
Police received a call about the accident at around 8:25am. The woman was rushed to National University Hospital but died from her injuries.
The driver, a 47-year-old man, was arrested for careless driving causing death. Police are still investigating.
Photos from the scene showed the elderly woman lying on the road inside a yellow box junction. A shopping trolley sat nearby. A red sedan was stopped in the same yellow box, facing the wrong direction. A white van and another car were also there.
