Police are looking for a driver involved in a hit-and-run accident in Woodlands on the night of December 10.
The Incident
According to the authorities, the accident occurred at 9.50 pm along Woodlands Avenue 6, involving a car and a bus. The driver left the scene before police arrived, and efforts to trace the motorist are ongoing as investigations continue.
No injuries were reported in the incident, and the Singapore Civil Defence Force confirmed that their assistance was not required.
Photos shared on social media by a Xiaohongshu user show the white GetGo car colliding into the rear of the bus. The car’s front suffered significant damage. The left side of the bonnet was folded upwards, while the front bumper collapsed, exposing some car parts underneath.
The authorities have stated that tracing the motorist remains a priority. Investigations are ongoing to understand the circumstances of the collision and to identify the driver responsible.
