Two senior leaders at PropertyLimBrothers (PLB), a well-known real estate agency in Singapore, have resigned with immediate effect following recent developments involving the company’s top management. The departures involve the firm’s chief executive officer, Mr Melvin Lim, and vice-president of strategy, Ms Grayce Tan. In their place, vice-president of operations Mr Marc Chan has been appointed as interim chief executive.
The leadership change comes after online rumours surfaced involving Mr Lim and Ms Tan. Checks carried out on Jan 26 showed that both individuals were no longer listed as employees on PropertyLimBrothers’ official website. When asked about their absence, the company confirmed that an internal review had been conducted.
A spokesperson for PropertyLimBrothers said the firm “has completed an internal review following recent events”. The spokesperson added: “Following the review, leadership changes have been implemented. The individuals concerned have resigned from their respective roles with immediate effect.”
The company also said it is taking steps to strengthen internal standards. “We are in the midst of reinforcing our workplace conduct policies and governance processes to reaffirm clear professional boundaries and standards across the organisation,” the spokesperson said. At the same time, the firm stated clearly that it would not address online speculation, saying: “We will not comment on rumours or speculation. Our business operations and client services continue as usual.”
PropertyLimBrothers was founded in 2017 by Mr Melvin Lim and Mr Adrian Lim. The two founders met while training as prison officers before starting the real estate agency. Over the years, the firm has built a strong brand by focusing heavily on digital content, media production, and social media outreach. According to its website, the agency sets itself apart through its “robust media capabilities and widespread social media presence”.
From a small two-person team, the company has expanded rapidly. It now has 159 staff, made up of 90 employees in its creative agency arm and 69 realtors in its realty division. The firm’s growth has also been recognised nationally. PropertyLimBrothers ranked seventh on The Straits Times and Statista’s 2025 list of Singapore’s fastest-growing companies.
Financial figures listed in the report showed that the agency recorded almost $6.5 million in revenue in 2023. It also posted an absolute growth rate of 1,569.73 per cent. On its LinkedIn profile, PropertyLimBrothers stated that it has completed more than 1,200 property transactions in the past two years.
The firm also maintains a strong online presence. Its YouTube channel has more than 79,000 subscribers and over 4,800 uploaded videos. On Instagram, the agency has at least 38,700 followers, which is higher than some larger competitors in the market.
