The Singapore Police Force is looking for a suspect who allegedly entered a landed property along Upper Thomson Road without permission. The incident happened at a residence on Marigold Drive on Saturday night, 21 February.
Police received a call for assistance at around 9.40pm. When officers arrived, they found that a person had allegedly entered the home, but the suspect had already left before police could arrive.
Authorities, including Gurkha officers and the Special Operations Command, were deployed to search the surrounding area and the nearby jungle. Residents reported seeing police vehicles patrolling the neighborhood following a Chinese New Year gathering.
A local resident told reporters that the police presence included three red SOC vehicles and two motorcycles stationed along Upper Thomson Road.

Reporters visited the affected home and spoke to a man who claimed to be a friend of the homeowner. He said the woman spotted a man believed to have climbed over her backyard wall. She screamed, and the intruder fled before police arrived.
When asked if anything was stolen, the friend said he did not know the details.
