A Honda Spada private hire vehicle was allegedly involved in a crash at a multi-storey carpark in Punggol in the early hours of February 8. The incident reportedly happened at about 4.48am at Block 670 Edgefield Plains. Dashcam footage from a parked vehicle showed the Honda moving at a high speed inside the carpark.
The actual moment of impact was not captured on camera. However, moments after the car sped past, a loud crash could be heard as it exited the camera’s view. The video, which was uploaded to the SG Road Vigilante Facebook page, later showed what happened before and after the collision.
Damage Seen After the Crash
Photos shared online showed clear damage to the vehicles involved. A red Toyota had significant damage to its front section. A Mercedes-Benz parked beside it also appeared to have been affected, and its licence plate was missing.
The kerb near the Toyota showed visible damage, with chunks appearing to be dislodged. A separate image of a Honda Spada with heavy front bumper damage was also included in the online post. However, it is unclear when or where that particular photo was taken.
Driver Walks Away
Clips showed the alleged driver walking away from the scene while looking at his mobile phone. His behaviour drew strong reactions online.
Many netizens criticised the driver’s conduct. Some commented “above 50 kmh in carpark,” suggesting he was driving at excessive speed inside the carpark. Others speculated “drink driving,” although there has been no confirmation of this. Several commenters also said he appeared to “walk away like nothing happen.”
